Bonnevaux

A new contemplative centre and meditation retreat to help to make the world more peaceful.
In the past 20 years, the World Community for Christian Meditation and Meditatio, its secular outreach, have shown that
meditation builds community. Bonnevaux, its new home, is an inspirational opportunity to take this work to the next stage.

Dear Friend of Bonnevaux,

In recent weeks we have been secluded (10 of us in community) but busy at Bonnevaux. We have discovered how much people around the world value feeling connected to the life here. This has led us to  launch a new programme : ‘A Contemplative Path through the Crisis’ which is attracting a lot of members.

The first of these online events was the Inter-Contemplative Dialogues with Alan Wallace and Eva Natanya.

These conversations took place over a week but we have selected highlights which I thought you would like to have preview of,

During these wonderful and enriching days of our Holy Week retreat we keep you in mind and heart here. Bonnevaux is a beautiful site which still retains parts of the original monastery built there in 1119. It is an ideal space, with a spirit of deep peace and beauty, for a contemplative retreat centre attuned to the needs of our time.

A main renovation and building project can give birth to this vision…With your support
